Brian was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He left his first career path (firefighting) to jump into art school.
After graduating from New World School of the Arts College with a BFA in graphic design, he moved to Nashville to join a design and development agency.
Brian is an abstract thinker who uses strategy, taste, and good reasoning to solve business challenges. He’s worked as a product designer for companies like Lonely Planet and SimplePractice and created brands for start-ups like Butterfly Network. As a UX/UI designer with a left hook in brand design, Brian loves working with teams of all kinds and seeing people benefit from thoughtful design.
He met the Focus Lab crew back in 2016 at a design conference (Creative South!). Over the next few years, they became internet friends, exchanging emojis, tweets, and kudos. With some patience and timing, Brian eventually joined the Focus Lab team. Woot woot!
Brian lives in Nashville with his wife Jenna, two-year-old son Everett (and another on the way), and dog, Dallas. A perfect weekend for Brian would be a tasty family breakfast, followed by an afternoon at the skatepark. After a family walk around the neighborhood, he’d spend the evening hanging out with his family somewhere outdoors, eating pizza.
