Laura Munoz
Laura is a loud-and-proud Mississippi native currently living in Oklahoma City with her husband Omar and their two dogs, Nova and Noche. Born and raised in the South, she’ll happily debate anyone who questions her firm belief that Oklahoma is, in fact, the Midwest.
She’s a rare mix of creative spirit and type A energy who loves structure, a true anomaly. As a child, one of her favorite activities was writing out the grocery list. At an early age, she discovered a passion for constructing clothing and jewelry, later earning her degree in Fashion Design and Development at Mississippi State University.
After graduation, Laura landed in Oklahoma, starting her career as a technical designer before moving into product management in consumer electronics. Along the way, she discovered her sweet spot: bringing people together, managing projects with equal parts strategy and personality, and making sure no detail gets lost in the shuffle. She is passionate about creating meaningful connections and embracing new experiences!
These days, she’s thriving in project management – living proof that spreadsheets and creativity can, in fact, get along.
When she’s not keeping projects on track, you’ll find her at a live show, walking Nova and Noche, getting elbows-deep in a DIY project, exploring new recipes or OKC restaurants, and selling her handmade jewelry at local art shows.
