Dahlia brings a sunny personality to her role as a Business Development Specialist, empowering clients to elevate their brand visions.
Dahlia hails from the Nordic fjords of Bergen, Norway. After 10 years of donning thermal underwear and three layers of rain gear, she relocated with her family to Sanibel Island on Florida’s sun-kissed Gulf Coast.
She’s an island gal to her core. Life on Sanibel provided unique experiences that gave her a deep appreciation for wildlife: spotting speckled screech owls at night, watching rambunctious bobcat cubs grow up, and even getting stung by a stingray in the rolling surf (painful, lemme tell you).
Dahlia graduated from the Honors Degree program at Rollins College with a double major in Social Entrepreneurship and Music Performance (she comes from a family of classical violinists). She began her career in design, working with fine art galleries, contemporary art consultancies, and fine jewelers in Aspen, Colorado; Palm Beach, Florida; and Sanibel Island, Florida.
Craving the collaborative nature of an agency environment, she transitioned to a role in communications at a B2B agency based out of NYC with a specialization in financial and professional services. It was there that she discovered her passion for all things business development and growth strategy. Dahlia joined the Focus Lab team in ‘22 and is fortunate to be able to do what she loves every day: helping prospective clients unlock their full potential by guiding them to dynamic brand transformations.
Dahlia is a beach walker, shell seeker, avid reader, self-proclaimed pasta enthusiast, and goldendoodle doter that can play a mean Bach violin concerto.
